Every petal is cut, shaped and set by hand, in rows, until the flower is fully open. The stem ends in a loop, so it can be worn on a cord or kept on its concrete plinth as a small sculpture.

The Sacred Lotus series is made in small numbers, made by hand in Greyton.

Caring for brass

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. It darkens with air and handling, and this darker colour is called patina. Some people like the patina and some prefer bright brass.
